I got a chicken taquito, and double carne asada macho burrito. For its’ size, it’s an amazing deal. The meat tastes grilled, and they aren’t messing with portions or flavors. Even my taquito was stuffed with grilled chicken, fresh cilantro, and onion. If you like spicy, get the salsa verde. Red sauce just tastes like an average salsa. Free nachos were included with my order too. Definitely making this my go to for burrito and taco cravings.

I ordered a vegetarian taco and specially told the lady what I wanted and not to add any avocado because Im allergic she acknowledged that but when I got my taco had avocado. She proceeds to remake and still get it’s wrong. Maybe if they were a little chit chatty and paid attention the order would be wrong multiple times. Music is extremely loud plus everyone talking. Does not make me want to come back here

Note: they do check COVID vaccination if you want to dine indoors. This Mexican restaurant was bustling with a ton of people lining up to order (including us). Everything is med fresh and delicious, from their tortillas to their chips and salsa. The mango pork taco had sweet chunks of mango, a generous serving of tender pork, and a sprinkling of fresh cojita cheese. The gigante taco was filled with flavorful, charred carne asada, strips of roasted sweet potato, and beans. This was also an amazing taco. Those super fresh flour and corn tortillas are good enough to eat on their own!The tortilla chips were crunch and homemadeWhile the tacos may seem expensive, remember this is San Francisco, and honestly for the portion it is incredibly worth it!

I had been coming to EBX since they opened + years ago. They are walking distance from my house. Very convenient. The food has been consistently excellent. The service has been consistently not great. I used to visit EBX once a week, sometimes twice a week for as long as they have been opened. I guess you would call me a long time customer. I pretty much ordered the same thing for myself and my family and the food was always good. Unfortunately, I would say out of times they would get my order wrong. A lot of times I wouldn’t notice the order was incorrect or something was missing until I got home. I would have to walk back and let them know the order was wrong. I was always pleasant , even though this was a regular occurrence.About a year ago. I did my usual weekly visit. I got home and my burrito was missing . I called them and let them know. No apologies just “oh, you can come back and pick it up”. I just got home and didn’t want to walk back and wait for my order that should have been done correctly the first time. I just said forget it and can I get a refund. (No refund as of yet) It has been over a year and I haven’t been back since and don’t plan to. It’s not worth the aggravation. I’m really bummed because I really like the food and EBX was my family’s weekly go to for good take out food. I know this is an issue with other families in the neighborhood that go to EBX. The same thing. Foods great but, they can never get my order right. So, I know it’s not just me.Also , the one employee that’s usually at the register taking orders is so unpleasant. She’s been there for years. Never smiles. Like I said I have been coming to EBX for + years. Never a “hi” . I always feel like I’m inconveniencing her. I always say “hi” to her and she barely looks up and acknowledges me as a customer. She always seems like she doesn’t want to be there, Like I said , I will take my business elsewhere where at least my business is appreciated.I have been going to Cumaica coffee shop for about the same time as I was going to EBX. They know my name and always, always get my order correct and are SUPER friendly. For other long time customers. Please take a moment and make sure orders are correct and you at least greet all of customers.
